What is this about?

Whether you're a minister, minister's wife, pk, missionary, mk, tck, or an expat; good, theologically-sound counseling is usually hard to access. If you minister in a rural area there may be no access to counseling or you may personally know all the options. If you're abroad there may not be any options in your language or even in your area. 

Bent Tree Counseling offers good, theologically-sound Christian counseling from a Biblical worldview. This counseling can be done via HIPPA compliant videoconferencing at a time convenient for you (even if you're on the other side of the world). 

how Does this work?

We will schedule with you at your convenience. We will send you a link to our HIPPA compliant video conferencing virtual office through a free app. You can access this app through your phone or on your computer. You can meet with us at your convenience in any quiet place with internet access. 

Before your first meeting with us you will need to access our Intake Forms and complete them through docusign or print and mail the originals (with your signature on the consent) to Bent Tree Counseling. After our first meeting you & your counselor can decide together the frequency you guys will want to meet. Some people want to meet weekly and others monthly. Our aim is to make this work for you!

how is this funded?

Well, that depends. You can pay out of pocket, you can have a sending agency pay, or you can use funds donated in your name.

We got you. If the practitioner you want to see is full or the wait is too long - try another one! Each practitioner (Rikki, Megan, Zab) is missionary-minded and competent. If they are all full - we have friends! Check out Dr. Ashley. We love and trust her.
